Description
Callaloo is a green, leafy vegetable that is a staple in Caribbean cooking. Its similar to spinach and can be added to soups, omelettes and stews. In Jamaica, its eaten at all times of day, often served with saltfish or stir-fried with onion, garlic, tomato and scotch bonnet pepper.
Tropical Sun Callaloo is picked, prepared and preserved by hand in Central Village, Jamaica. Its blanched, lightly salted and canned to guarantee maximum freshness and flavour.
