Description
Black beans are a nutritious pantry staple, perfect for tacos, enchiladas and chilli con carne. Theyre popular in Mexico, South America, the Caribbean and the southern United States. Use them in soups and salads, add them to rice or make spicy refried beans for burritos and quesadillas.
Make your own plant-based meatballs by adding black beans to a mix of breadcrumbs, quinoa, sweet paprika and a beaten egg. Pulse in a blender, form into balls and leave to chill for 15 minutes. Fry them in oil until browned and serve with a spicy tomato sauce.
