Description
This stylish rosewood caviar spoon is the ideal gift for the chef who has (almost) everything. Unlike metal spoons, the polished wood wont taint the delicate flavour of the fish roe. Handmade in Vietnam, it would make a wonderful gift – perhaps accompanied by a tin of Beluga caviar. The spoon has a flat tip which is ideal for scooping caviar on to blinis or buttered toast points, but also great for sugar and ice-cream.
Each piece is individually hand carved and finished by highly skilled craftsmen. The tableware is made using waste materials: rosewood off-cuts from a furniture maker and water buffalo horn that would otherwise be discarded and incinerated. Due to the natural material of the product, some pieces may have natural markings – each one is unique.
Not dishwasher safe.

Inspired by her mothers collection of antique silver spoons, London-based designer Sarah launched a range of horn cutlery with British hallmarked silver. It went on to win an award for ‘Outstanding Design presented by the British Interior Design Association in May 2003. Sarah uses 3D models, rather than drawings, to design and refine her pieces so she can visualise them in real space.
