Description
These Ortiz bonito tuna fillets in olive oil are from the thunnus alalunga, which is a small tuna that generally weighs less than 20kg. The meat has a lovely pale colour and a delicate flavour much more sophisticated than the standard tinned tuna you might find on supermarket shelves.

Spanish seafood experts Ortiz might just make the best canned tuna available to buy in the UK. They also only fish at the point in the season when the tuna weigh 30kg or less, to give the most tender fillets. All the fish that Ortiz buys is caught on rod and line in the Bay of Biscay and then processed by hand. The fish is also ethically sourced, creating as little marine waste as possible.
