Nonya Secrets Surani sauce is your secret weapon for seafood suppers. It has a spicy sweet chilli flavour with tangy tamarind and funky fish sauce.
Surani sauce is best served with crispy pan-fried fish. Its particularly good with sea bass and oily fish like salmon or mackerel. Serve the fish with steamed rice and green vegetables. Griddled pak choi is a great accompaniment.
You can heat the sauce in the same pan used to fry your fish. Combine half the jar with 100ml of water and heat until bubbling. Then, simply spoon it over your fish.
