Membrillio paste, also known as quince paste, is a sweet-tart preserve to pair with cheese. This Spanish paste offers a sweet, tangy contrast to rich and creamy cheeses – from a Manchego to Stilton.
This Membrillo paste has a firm texture. Layer crackers or bread with a slice of cheese and top with this fruity quince paste for a deliciously balanced bite. It also works wonderfully in cheese toasties or chopped into dessert and baking recipes.
Ingredients: Quince, sugar, natural thickener: agar, agar, acidulant, citric acid, preservative: potassium sorbate.
