This artisan French red wine vinegar is aged for three years in oak barrels to develop its bright, fruity flavour.

Its made in France using three carefully selected grape varieties from the Piedmont region of northwest Italy. Red wine vinegar is a store cupboard staple for both home cooks and professional chefs. You can use it to make salad dressings, sweet-sour sauces and rich gravies for roasted meat. Its great for deglazing the pan when youre cooking beef and lamb.

Red wine vinegar is extremely versatile – you can add it to everything from homemade ketchup to this hearty mushroom and red pepper goulash. Mix it with olive oil, crushed garlic and Dijon mustard to make a tangy vinaigrette that will instantly elevate green salads and roasted root vegetables.
