Description
Chipotle chillies are made from smoke-dried jalapeo chillies, which bring medium-hot spicy and a delicate smokiness to meat marinades and slow-cooked stews.
To cook, follow the instructions on the back of the packet. Wipe clean, remove stems and seeds. Then toast in a pan to release their flavour, and finally soak in boiling water for 15 minutes to rehydrate.Blend and use the chipotle chilli paste in chile con carne, or Mexican cooking sauces.
