This intense Santa Claus red food colour is ideal for colouring macarons, patisserie, sugar-work, cakes, and icing.
The intense red food colour would work brilliantly in a rose-red macaron, cherry-red Christmas or Red Nose Day cakes, or to paint bright red polka dots onto fondant icing.
This range of intense colours was developed byStphane Klein, the World Champion sugar-craft artist, who makes spectacular sculptures from coloured and blown sugar from his studio in Belfort, north-east France. Deco’relief products are used by top chefs and patissiers across France, in cakes, macarons, ganaches, sorbets, ice-creams, sweets and chocolates.
The food colour is water soluble. For maximum effect, dilute in a small amount of water before use. Recommended use is 1tsp of colouring in 1tsp water to colour 2kg of sugar. Contains 50g, or approx 60ml, or 12 tsp – enough for 24kg sugar.
