Al Dayaa plain halawa is a traditional Lebanese sesame sweet. Halawa, also known as halva, is a sweetened sesame paste with a firm, chewy texture. To eat the halawa, turn it from the tub, slice and serve. Eat the plain halawa as it is, drizzle with pomegranate molasses for a tangy taste, or enjoy with a strong espresso.
