Description
Use Terre Exotiques crushed chipotle chilli pepper to add smoky heat to stews, Mexican moles, rubs for meat, or even Welsh rarebit! Grown in Mexico, these chillies are also called jalapeno chillies. Once dried, the very hot chillies are smoked with pecan wood – the finished pepper flakes are sweet, strong and smoky.
Use these crushed chipotle chilli flakes to make chilli oil at home – wonderful drizzled over cold sesame noodles, steamed rice or peanut butter on toast. Alternatively, pair chipotle chilli flakes with pan-fried sea bass, or sprinkle a pinch over chocolate tortes.
