Description
Shallot sauce is a traditional Taiwanese ingredient for making braised pork and stir-fried rice noodles. This sauce is made with fresh shallots which grow in the warm south of Taiwan the sunny climate produces highly aromatic shallots. The aromatic shallots are blended with soybeans, salt, spices and sugar to create this flavour-packed sauce.
As well as using shallot sauce to make classic Taiwanese dishes of braised pork, its also fantastic with congee, ramen, fried rice and gyoza.
