Arrabiata is a spicy tomato sauce from the Lazio region of central Italy. Arrabiata means angry in Italian – a reference to the sauces fiery flavour. Rummo uses a mixture of chilli varieties for a balanced but decisive heat.
With this sauce in your store cupboard, dinner is on the table in minutes. Simply heat the sauce, add cooked pasta and stir to combine. Top with Parmesan cheese and a few basil leaves.
Serve this fiery sauce with Rummos penne rigate. The sauce will cling to the ridges of the tube-shaped pasta. Any leftovers are great for lunch boxes the following day.
