Peri-Peri Wing Sauce is made for basting and coating. It has more oil in it than the others, so, it coats chicken or meat while you are cooking/grilling it perfectly. It can also be turned into a marinade (link to “marinade” recipe page).
This wing sauce has the perfect amount of Heat and flavor for all wings. It can be used as a marinade first, then basted on the wings while cooking, then coated on wings for a final burst of flavor.
When you go to a Peri-Peri restaurant in South Africa, all of the chicken has been marinated in the Marinade. Then, when you order, you can specify your heat level. They use different heat level of “bastes” to coat while they are grilling the chicken. Our wing sauce is the Medium Baste Recipe you would find at a traditional Peri-Peri restaurant in South Africa and around the world.
