Muzzi panettones are made with fresh eggs, delivered daily, along with carefully selected butter, milk and sugar. The panettones are made using a mother yeast that is carefully tended, and follow a traditional recipe that has been perfected over many years.
Muzzi was founded in the 18th Century by Master Muzzi in the Umbrian town Foligno, Italy. Muzzis aniseed marzipan recipe proved a great success with the nobility at the time, and his business grew into breads and pastries. Today, the brand makes premium celebration breads, panforte and panettone.
