Description

Loisons sweet and fruity Veneziana is a traditional Italian cake studded with candied apricots. It has a sweet, bread-like texture similar to panettone. The dough is enriched with Mananara vanilla from Madagascar and a blend of fine spices which give the cake its unmistakable aroma and flavour. Its covered in sweet icing and garnished with almonds and granulated sugar.

The Veneziana dates back to the 15th century and is a symbol of Venetian culinary history. Over time, it became popular to bake a smaller version to enjoy as a breakfast pastry. Enjoy a slice with your morning coffee or serve it after dinner with a glass of sweet dessert wine.
