Galantinos extra virgin olive oil is produced in Puglia. They use traditional methods that have been passed down through generations. This oil has a medium-fruity flavour with a peppery finish. If you dont have fresh rosemary to hand, this fragrant oil is the next best thing.
Rosemary flavoured oil is fantastic for sauces, dressings and marinades. Mix it with garlic and rub it into lamb chops before grilling. You can drizzle it over roast potatoes or chicken thighs just before serving. Its delicious in sweet recipes, such as olive oil cake.
Rosemary oil is a great finishing touch for Italian soups. Swirl it over a bowl of minestrone or hearty Tuscan bean soup.
About Galantino
Galantino is based in the town of Bisceglie, Puglia the region that produces more olives than any other in the world. The medieval town is steeped in history, perched on the Adriatic coast and surrounded by ancient olive groves. Galantinos oil is renowned for its quality and consistency, and holds protected status (PDO). The family olive mill has been pressing oil since 1926, and is run today by the third generation. All their olives are carefully selected and washed before being crushed on traditional stone mills.
