Description
Fabada Asturiana is a hearty bean stew that originates from Asturias, a region of northwest Spain known for its mountains and rugged coastline. The main ingredient is the braised white beans which are flavoured with garlic and warming spices like paprika. The flavoursome stew also contains Iberian pork belly, chorizo and morcilla (blood sausage).
Made using an authentic Spanish recipe, this comforting stew is ready in minutes – simply heat and serve. Its perfect for busy days when youre craving a slow-cooked meal but dont have time to make one. In Asturias, its typically served with cider and rustic bread to mop up the delicious sauce.
Ingredients: First category white beans, cooking water, Iberian pork belly (Iberian pork belly and salt), chorizo extra smoked (lean and jowl of pork, paprika, garlic, salt and tripe natural pork), smoked black pudding (pork bacon, onion, pig’s blood, paprika, salt and natural pig casing), starch corn, salt and paprika.
