Enamelled 4 Person Paella Pan, 26cm

Description

This high-quality classic paella pan has a large, flat 26cm-diameter base. This means the rice spreads into a thin layer, allowing it to cook evenly and absorb stock at a steady rate. This paella pan is just the right size for a four-person paella.

Unlike risottos, this traditional Spanish dish from Valencia shouldnt be stirred continuously, so the thin base helps achieve the perfect socarrat (crispy bottom), creating the toasted caramel flavours of an authentic paella. The dimpled steel allows the pan to sit on a high heat without warping. Also use the pan for large Spanish omelettes, frittatas or even full English breakfasts.

This paella pan is enamelled with a coating of vitreo-ceramic, protecting the pan from rust. The enamel also prevents food sticking try to avoid using sharp utensils to preserve the pans non-stick qualities.

This pan is not suitable for using on an induction or ceramic hob, however it is oven-safe.

Please note – small patches of uncoated metal under the rim of the pan are normal and do not affect the quality of the product. This is where the pans are held on racks to dry after being coated in enamel.
