With their mild, nutty flavour, dried chickpeas are a great addition to soups, stews and vegetarian curries. You can use them to make smooth, creamy hummus or roast them until crispy to add to salads and tray bakes.
These dried chickpeas come from Legumbres el Maragato, a small artisan producer based in Leon in northwest Spain. Packaged in a traditional cotton sack, they are a versatile addition to your pantry.
Note: These are dried chickpeas which will require soaking before use.
