Description
Delicioso salsa mojo picon rojo is garlicky pepper sauce with warm smoked paprika flavour. Made from Piquillo peppers which have a strong sweetness with a bitter hint, the smokey paprika adds rich warmth to this salsa without being overpowering.
Use the mojo Picon Rojo to make Papas con Mojo, a variation of Patatas Bravas originating from the Canary Islands. The versatile smokey flavour also works perfectly alongside other Spanish flavours and dishes – use as a dip for Spanish tortilla or padron peppers.
Ingredients: Piquillo peppers (51%), extra virgin olive oil, water, purple garlic (garlic salt, citric acid), sherry vinegar, sugar, salt, cornflour, hot spanish paprika, red chillies (0.7%), cumin, emulsifier: xanthan gum.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place: stir well before use. Refrigerate once opened and use within 4 weeks.
