The De Buyer 20cm hemisphere mixing bowl with silicone base is the perfect shape for whipping egg whites. The silicone base means your bowl stays put, so you can concentrate on mixing without the bowl sliding around!
The interior of the mixing bowl is a smooth hemisphere, which is the best shape for incorporating air into egg whites or cream. The base is slightly flattened for stability.
You can use the bowl in the fridge or freezer, or even over a bain-marie. The silicone can withstand temperatures up to 220C without deforming. De Buyer mixing bowls are designed for demanding professional kitchen environments, meaning theyre durable, functional and easy to clean.
The De Buyer hemisphere mixing bowl is 20cm in diameter and has a capacity of 2.1 litres. A scale is laser-engraved on the inside, so you can see at a glance the volume of ingredients or mixture in the bowl.
