Description
Spread this bitter orange marmalade on crumpets, scones and sourdough toast. Produced in southwest Spain, its made with organic Seville oranges and brown cane sugar. The sugar adds notes of honey and caramel which balance the bright, citrus bitterness of the oranges.
Not just for breakfast, this bitter orange marmalade can be used in cakes, cocktails and bread and butter pudding. Its great for savoury dishes, too. Mix it with Dijon mustard, cider vinegar and olive oil to make a zesty dressing for bitter leaves and earthy beetroot. You can also use it to glaze pork belly, ribs and root vegetables – its particularly good with squash and carrots.
