Description
This smooth, sweet apricot jam is made with organic apricots and brown cane sugar. The ripe fruit gives it an intense, sweet-tart flavour which is balanced by the toasted, caramel notes of the cane sugar. Spread thickly on sourdough or sweet brioche, its a delicious way to start your day.
Produced in southwest Spain, this artisan jam has a rich, golden colour and intense fruit flavour. If you can resist eating it straight from the jar, it makes a great filling for cakes and pastries. Try adding a spoonful to natural yoghurt or using it to glaze grilled chicken or pork.
You can also use apricot jam to glaze pastries and fresh fruit tarts. Warm a spoonful of jam in a pan with a splash of water, then brush over the tart and leave to set. It gives the tart a shiny, bakery-style finish.
